The functioning of our civilization depends on communication. It allows us to connect the dots, have an impact on choices, and motivate change. Without effective communication abilities, advancement in the career and in life would be virtually impossible.
According to a study by sociologist Andrew Zekeri, “Oral communication skills were the top quality that college graduates deemed valuable in the professional sector.” Your ability to interact professionally and calmly with professionals and colleagues will improve as a result of your communication abilities. Speaking in front of an audience improves these skills, which makes you a better candidate to progress and succeed in your chosen field.
To help students improve their public speaking abilities and comprehend various facets of effective communication, Thames International College organized a session on the Art of Public Speaking and Communication Skills on March 23, 2022, in partnership with Skill Lab Nepal. The session was led by Yogina Shakya.
